Nergal, Sänger & Gitarrist der berüchtigten polnischen Black/Death-Metal-Könige BEHEMOTH musste heute erneut vor Gericht erscheinen. Die Anklage wegen des Zerreissens einer Bibel während einer Show hält sich weiterhin und der Prozess wurde erneut aufgerollt.

Nergal dazu: „I spent 5 hours In the court in Gdynia today. The case is back on track and there’s still few witnesses to be interviewed. It’s way to early to give any further comment. I just hope the final verdict is gonna be positive for me. I have a feeling that I’m in this situation for right reasons and I’m not giving up. Cross fingers! The battle ain’t over yet…”

Der berüchtigte Kopf der polnischen Black/Death Metaller BEHEMOTH hat auf den am vergangenen Wochende stattgefundenen Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards den begehrten „Metal As Fuck“-Award erhalten. Der Preis wurde von niemand geringerem als Alice Cooper persönlich überreicht!

Nergal dazu: “Shit, I’m stoked! I couldn’t be more proud of any other award…METAL AS FUCK. What a combination of words! I love everything about Metal and I love everything about…yes, you’re right haha. Metal Hammer! You rule! BEHEMOTH truly appreciates all the support given! Fans, thank you for voting…We’ll be coming back to you shortly…rehearsals are starting early next week! I’m thrilled huh… Btw, I wanted to thank Jonathan for being a great host at this year’s Awards! Thank you brother! Ah, I could talk forever about how awesome times it was..I got to meet one of my all time heroes, Jess Coleman from KILLING JOKE…hung out with Jamie from HATEBREED, SUICIDE SILENCE guys, met Devin Townsend! Nergal, umjubelter Frontmann der polnischen Black/Death Metaller BEHEMOTH hat am vergangenen Wochenende sein Bühnen-Comeback eingeläutet. Am 6. Mai stand er im Mega Club in Katowice, Polen nicht mit seinen BEHEMOTH-Kollegen auf den Brettern, die die Welt bedeuten, sondern mit Carl McCoy & FIELDS OF THE NEPHILIM. Dies stellt Nergals ersten öffentlichen Auftritt seit dessen Rückenmarks-
transplantation vor einigen Monaten dar.

Nergal kommentiert: “I just came off stage…Katowice, Poland. It was my first performance after the transplant. I don’t remember when the last time I was THAT nervous. First of all, I had to join one of my favorite bands ever, true legends, FIELDS OF THE NEPHILIM… secondly, I’m still not 100% in shape so I didn’t know how my body would react. I would risk saying I’m maybe 60% of what I used to be… but still progressing! Anyway, We did a song “Penetration” together with Carl McCoy and Co. What a blast I have to tell you. I had a serious adrenaline rush and it was such a boost of energy I can’t even describe. My mouth dried out after 30 seconds so I could hardly breathe but the energy wouldnft let me stop. I was carried away. The moment I saw the crowd, I felt this double bass pounding underneath my feet… I was in trance. I’m counting days ’til we come back with Behemoth full time. 5 months to go…huh.”
